Well London’s Run/Ride was once again an amazing day! We had shirts made this year for all of our friends and family that would be there. It was so cool to have so many Team Troy members. I wish I had pictures of everyone that was there but just know we thank you for sharing this inspiring event with our family. Troy had no idea why we all had shirts on that said his name but one day he will understand. I am proud to say that I finished the race and didn’t stop at all. I sure wanted to stop at about mile 10 but then I saw a picture of Lorrin Merkley that made me want to keep going. He was a grown teenager lying across both his parents laps. It was just such a fun picture that made me want to keep going. Pictures of Troy were posted along the course that I wasn’t expecting to see. I knew they had pictures of him last year but I didn’t know they would use them again. It was a pleasant surprise to say the least. After I came around the corner to finish, my dad was there and ran with me into the finish. Then I saw Heather Solomon (London’s Mom) and she gave me a big hug and I just started crying. I didn’t think that I would be emotional but it was such an accomplishment for me. I can honestly say I am considering running it again next year. This event takes many many volunteers and I am grateful for the people that plan this entire day. Thanks to all our family and friends for your support and lets do it again next year!!!

Oh my gosh this video makes me cry! Your family is awesome! I love the shirts! Congrats on finishing! Thats awesome! When it comes to our kids, I think we could do just about anything! I left a comment on Sara Beths blog that I wanted to get a bunch of old friends and new friends and meet at Tempe Town Lakes one Sat. and take lunch and hang out and visit while the kids play! We usually take our bikes, my kids love it! Would you guys be up for that? Let me know! We need to do it soon before it gets too hot!

I love all the pictures! It really was such an amazing day. I really hope I am here to run next year. It's funny how quickly you forget how bad you hated running 13 miles.
